“CITY OF ALI” MAKES PBS DEBUT

Dozens of stations in the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) have committed to airing “City of Ali” starting in January and throughout 2022.

Championed by Kentucky Educational Television (KET), “City of Ali” is being made available to public television stations throughout the U.S. courtesy of a one-year agreement between the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) and Grand Street Productions, LLC.  The documentary will air on stations serving multiple markets including Houston, Minneapolis, Washington, DC, Cincinnati, Seattle, Charlotte and Ali’s hometown of Louisville.

KET scheduled the Kentucky debut of “City of Ali” at 8pm ET/7pm CT on January 17, 2022, the 80th anniversary of Muhammad Ali’s birth.
